(Edges a bit worn/bumped, a bit foxed/browned in places, plates partly misfolded/creased & w. some splits in places, but a good copy).
Henry Humphrey Evans Lloyd (c.1718-83) was a Welsh army officer and military writer. This was his most influential book. It was translated into German (five editions) and French (three editions). Possibly from the library of Guillaume Anne baron de Constant Rebecque de Villars (1750-1832) and with his signature on the title-page. The numbering of the plates is quite inscrutable.
