Fine, very rare, small size edition of Homer, printed by the son-in-law of Aldus Manutius. This is the third Aldus edition (1504, 1517), and the sixth complete edition published until then. The 1524 edition repeats the 1517 edition except for the typographical errors and a few changes in the text which probably are conjectures by François d'Asola. - Adams H745; STC Italian 330; Renouard I, 233; Aldine Press 226. - Collation: 1-78 A-Z8 AA-LL8 MM6 a-z8 A-H8 I4.
