Transcript made during World War II of the first edition of Valerius's patriotic songbook containing songs from the Dutch Revolt. From the colophon: "In het rampjaar 1940 op 12 juni ben ik begonnen dit boek uit het originele exemplaar der Universiteits-bibliotheek te Amsterdam over te schrijven, (…)". Most likely copied by Hedda Schoonderbeek-von Kaulbach (1900-1992) which can be deducted from the fact that the manuscript bears a dedication to Kees Otten, signed 'Hedda', dated 31 August 1987. Hedda and Kees were acquainted. Hedda was also a sister of Quappi Beckmann, wife of the painter Max Beckmann.€ 400
