V.d. Krogt I, p. 467: "The Atlas Maior by Johan Janssonius served as basis for an atlas (…) by Moses Pitt of London in 1680-83, with the co-publishers J. Janssonius van Waesbergen (c. 1616/17-1681) and his sons, and S. Swart (1641-1683). (…) The maps where generally printed from reworked plates of Janssonius, the imprint of Janssonius van Waesbergen and Pitt is added (in vols. 2 and 4 the imprints include Swart's name) and, to facilitate finding places w. the index, the grid of parallels and meridians is added. (…) In all probability the maps where printed in Amsterdam and shipped to Oxford to be bound with the text."
