BINDINGS -- (MAGNUS, Albert (attrib.)). 17th century brown 4° calf bookbinding in the style of (?) Albertus Magnus, w. elaborately gilt dec. sides, richly gilt spine raised in compartments, gilt dec. endpapers. 26 blank lvs. In custom made red cloth clamshell box. (Upper joint split, spine ends rep., calf a bit rubbed/chafed in places with some loss/fading of the gilt decorations).
