Onofrio Panvinio (1529-1568) was an Augustinian monk of Verona. In the course of his short life, besides producing his edition of the Consular Fasti, he wrote on Roman names, on the books of the Sibyls and the portraits of the emperors. Much of his work was founded on his own researches in Roman inscriptions. Very fine copy of this rare work. - Adams P-201; Machiels P-44 (incompl.); Graesse V, 123.€ 500
