According to Laurentius it is uncertain whether the depicted is actually Van Goyen, nor is it certain that Van Dyck made the drawing. With Ploos van Amstel's coat of arms printed on the verso as proof of authenticity (Lugt 2725). - Laurentius 9 (roodplaat II).
