Well-preserved fine Sinhalese 'ola' manuscript written on palm leaves, typical for libraries attached to Sri Lankan Buddhist monasteries. There are no images, as is usually the case with Sinhalese manuscripts. The wooden covers with bevelled outer edges are finely painted with lotus petal borders and floral and scrolling foliage designs in green, orange and yellow polychrome.€ 300
