Abundantly illustrated chronicle divided into two parts: the first part describes the region, the walled towns, the abbeys, local saints, etc. The second part is devoted to the history of the duchy from the earliest times up to the present. The text was much extended in comparison to the edition of 1518, also published by Jan van Doesborch. The 1530 edition was extended with a supplement in which the historical events between 1518 and 1530 were incorporated. Seven new illustrations were also added, more or less free copies after Burgkmaier's woodcuts for the allegorical chivalric poem 'Teuerdank', written by Maximilian I (1459-1519). Copy with this line on title-page: "Dese boecken vintmen te cope tot Michiel van Hoochstraten inden rape". - Nijhoff-Kronenberg 655; De vijfhonderdste verjaring v.d. boekdrukkunst i.d.
