Ad 1: Der praktische Ratgeber im Obst- und Gartenbau was a weekly periodical on the works and days of (fruit-)gardening which ran from 1886 to 1957. All the colored plates where published between 1893 and 1916. In 1922 a bi-weekly appendix on small-animal husbandry was added; in 1934 the name of the periodical was changed to Deutsche Garten in keeping with the new nationalistic times. This set contains most of the installments of the first 49 years.€ 500
