BOOK OF HOURS -- COLLECTION of 6 loose leaves from printed books of hours (post-incunables), of which 5 printed by Gillet Hardouyn and 1 by Simon Vostre. Paris, 1510. All printed on vellum, r° and v°. W. fine woodcut borders, of which 2 are completely cold. by hand. Each leaf c. 165 x 100 mm. All framed, glazed and under acid free passepartouts in 4 frames, of which 3 can be viewed from both sides.

The fine woodcuts depict biblical scenes and figures, i.a. Judith and Holofernes, the Beheading of St. John, Matthew the Evangelist, but also the Landing of Jason. With together 5 miniatures in colour, initials by hand in gold on red or blue ground, heightened with gold in places. Very decorative items.
