WORLD MAP -- COSA, JUAN de la. (Manuscript World map in facsimile). N.pl., no publ., n.d. (1920/1930's?). Cold. lithogr. map divided in 6 parts, mounted on linen. Ca. 98 x 185 cm. Between 2 wooden supports at shorter ends. (Paper detached from linen in places, few marginal chips (w. some resultant loss of paper), margins very lightly frayed in places and w. some splits, but in a good condition).

Facsimile of the earliest surviving chart showing both the Old and the New World. The original was drawn on vellum around 1500 and is now in the Museo Naval, Madrid. Juan de la Cosa accompanied Christopher Columbus on his second voyage.
