The music of "Credo" was composed by Johannes den Hertog (1904-1982), a composer and conductor. Haasse's text consists of seven pages. A publisher or year is not mentioned. With a short introduction (written by the composer?) and a fragment of the musical manuscript in facsimile. The edition appears to be from after the war, namely from 1947 when Den Hertog's work was performed twice in The Hague.
