Cont. mottled cf. w. raised bands, dec. gilt back, gilt coat of arms of The Hague on both sides, surrounded by 2 gilt borders, all edges gilt and with charming handmade endpapers. (Extremities a bit dam./worn, label gone, gilt coat of arms partly gone, cf. a bit dried out, lower outer margin last quarter a bit stained/moulded resulting in frayed/brittle margin).

Copy with partly printed school prize to Henricus Hoefft, September 1761, signed by Ruther Ouwens (Rector). - Schweiger II, 565; Dibdin II, 186: "This is a valuable edition"; Spoelder 578, ('s-Grav. 3).
