A very handsome edition, not only for its typographical execution with three different sizes of the so-called 'Grecs du Roi' type, but also for the very fine engravings of the twelve Sibyls in Panvinius's essay on the subject in the first part. The title-page for the second & third parts have the Lutetia ship woodcut. Notable features of this work are the Latin translation by the famous Castellio (first published 1546), and Scaliger's edition of Astrampsychus.
