Two seemingly similar copies - but upon closer inspection with many differences! - of the Columbia type specimen: an unrecorded printing proof and the final type specimen. Next to the "proef" mentioned in Lane/Lommen, there is this copy which probably precedes the one mentioned by them. Also added in photostat the composing instructions, originally performed in ink. With note: "waarschijnlijk ontwerp zetterijchef [G.C.H.] Dal[l]meyer". This photostat also provided with later manuscript notes regarding a comparison of design, proof and type specimen. - Cf.
