OPTICAL VIEWER (Diagonal mirror/Zograscope). (Late) 19th c. handmade wooden optical viewer, which has (when it is closed) the appearance of a book. The viewer contains a double convex lens and a mirror fixed right behind it. 54 x 35 x 12,5 cm. (1 hinge a bit loosening, 1 hook lacks, a small crossbar and wooden part (to let the mirror rest on) are missing (a new part is added), the mirror is weathered). -- Added: (THE STORY OF JOSEPH). 11 (of 12) cont. handcold. engr. optical prints of the series.
