Wallet of the French general Charles de Preux (1738-1813), who served in the "Regiment de Courten"; from 1804, he was commander of this Regiment (that was now called after him: "Regiment de Courten de Preux"). He was captured during the Napoleonic Wars and died while in captivity at Bridgnorth in 1813.€ 300
