Jean-Michel Atlan, (1913-1960), active as an artist since the 1940s. He had connections with all well-known artists of his time, particularly members of CoBrA, but struggled to get recognition for his own brand of post-war lyrical abstraction. After his one-man exhibition in 1956 his work was widely recognized in France and abroad.€ 180
