Contains remarks on Spinoza, namely pp. 65-67 and 107-109. The author was lieutenant of a Swiss regiment in French service during the war with he Netherlands. He arranged that Spinoza travelled to Utrecht (at that time under French government) with a still unknown mission. This is the "Cologne" reprint without the sphere (therfor probably Belgian according to Willems) of the Paris edition from the same year. - V.d. Linde 63; Willems 1878 note.€ 140
