(A few marg. stains).A collection of twelve emblematic plates which were later used for 'Occasio arrepta' by J. David (1605). The twelve allegorical engravings were part of the didactical program the Jesuits developed in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth century to clarify the catholic point of view.
