The Battle of Waterloo, June 18, 1815. Wide view of the battlefield, with left of center the moment when the Prince of Orange is wounded. To the left of the prince in the background, his horse ('Vexy') is also hit by a bullet. Brunswijkers advancing on the left. In the distance on the right, the burning castle of Hougoumont, advancing English infantry and the Duke of Wellington on horseback.
