STRUCK, Hermann (1876-1944). Collection of 9 etchings deriving from an album of etchings on the subject of the Land of Israel. (Possibly Frankfurt, 1903?). Various sizes, all under passepartout. Signed by the artist in pencil, some dated and inscribed in the plate. (Passepartouts browned/partly a bit stained, etchings slightly age-toned).
Hermann Struck undertook an extensive trip to the Land of Israel in 1903 of which he published a series of etchings, 9 of which are present here. Eight portray landscapes of the Land of Israel and one is a portrait (of a rabbi?). The passepartouts are 43 x 32 cm. Although the etchings are not numbered they were probably published in an edition of 100 copies.€ 400
