(Privately) bound (21) and owrps. (Some catalogues had a rough life, which means traces of (heavy) use). -- Added: 10 auction catalogues from the years 1904-11, published by his brother George, who ran an auction house in Leiden. -- Also added: 8 o. post war catalogues by Meijer Elte (1875-1937). -- (61).

Ad 1: The bookshop of Meijer ('Max') Elte (1877-1937) was located at Korte Poten 13 in The Hague and was one of the most important pre-war antiquarian bookshops in the Netherlands. These are some of Elte's own catalogues ('handexemplaren) in which he noted buyers and other details. Some have small (children's) drawings in blank spaces and even small notes are inserted. J.F. Heijbroek & J. Storm v. Leeuwen 'Het antiquariaat Meijer Elte 1899-1984'. In: De Boekenwereld. Jg. 1 (1984-85), p. 3. Present are the catalogues: 2-27 containing formidable books.
