Met bijvoegsels zoo tot de bisschoppen als de stad Utregt dienstig". 1722. Ms. on paper in Dutch in a legible hand on laid paper. (4), 109 pp., blank, (16) lvs. (r° only), (2) index lvs. Incl. tipped in frontispiece (by L.P. Serrurier, dated 1732) drawn in ink and grey wash and w. 83 cold. coats of arms in text, all drawn and cold. by hand. 4°. Cont. h. sheepskin, marbled paper on sides. (Bind. a bit worn/dam., but in fine interior condition).

Dutch translation of Petrus Bockenberg's 'Catalogus brevis historia pontificum Ultraiectensium', a collection of biographical and genealogical notes on Dutch bishops from Willibrord up to Frederik van Tautenburg which was published in Leiden by Johannes Paets in 1586. Engelbertus van Engelen (16??-1723?), a Leiden MD, translated the work - according to Van der Aa (Biogr. Wdbk II, 46) - in favour of the numismatist Andries Schoemaker who collected material in relation to Utrecht (now in Collection Bodel Nijenhuis?). - Once offered for sale in Burgersdijk & Niermans's catalogue 49 'Bibliotheca Collectiva' (Leiden, 1905) under number 642 (at that time Dfl. 20).
