Schrader, German botanist and mycologist. He studied medicine early in life. He named the Australian plant genus Hakea in 1797. Schrader explains why he was not able to attend meetings of the "Naturvereine in Berlin" and thanks the addressee for the printed version of one of the lectures which were held there.
