Very rare first edition of this travel account that was (unusually enough for that time) written by a woman, born in 1788 in a prosperous family. She took several more trips, alone and later with her son, and continued to write throughout a long career, living to age 94. Both plates present: "Eine Damen aus dem Harem" and "Der Obere der Derwische".€ 240
