Cont. h. mor. w. brass clasp, catch, cornerpieces, gilt-lettered "Album" on front side, a.e.g., white moiré endpapers. (Spine dam., 1 leaf loose).

An impressive and decorative 19th-century compilation album. The monograms, often in rococo or gothic style, appear in many colours (red, blue, green, black, purple) and show elaborate combinations of initials. Several leaves are devoted to coats of arms and ex-libris-like devices, some annotated with family names or institutions.
