(4), 295, (1) pp. W. engr. ti-vign. by Wandelaar & 89 anatomical engr. plates (counted as 47). Fol. Fine cont. marbled cf. w. raised bands, dec. gilt back, gilt coat of arms of Rotterdam on both sides, surrounded by gilt floral border, red mor. ti-label, blue marbled edges. (Corners bumped, paper a bit wrinkled in places).

Second edition (first 1744) of Eustachius famous "Tabulae anatomicae" given by the Dutch anatomist B. S. Albinus (1697-1770), a colleague of Boerhaave. Eustachi's anatomical tables, engraved in 1552, weren't published until 1714 by Lancisi. Albinus published this edition with his own commentaries and 46 additional numeral-keyed outline-plates. - Choulant-Frank, 202 (giving 1762? as year of publ.); Hirsch I, 72.
