(Paste downs detached, upper hinge partly split (but holding), endpapers replaced, some wormholes in inner margin lightly affecting a few of the images, map of Friesland: lower 3rd reinforced w. paper, map of Oostergoo: right-hand 3rd loose (not torn!) until ca 5 cm from the lower margin, same map small tear in the crossing of folds, map of Ferwerdadeel bound upside-down, otherwise clean & tight).

Lacking the maps of Westergoo, Baarderadeel and Sevenwolden and the city plan of IJlst. -- Christianus Schotanus (1603-1671),professor of Greek and church history at the University of Franeker.
