Gilbert Génébrard (1535-97) was a French Benedictine exegete and Orientalist. He was one of the most learned professors at the College Royal and through his numerous and erudite exegetical works became famous throughout Europe. Important and rare commentary on Solomon's songs. - Adams B-1576.
