W. 2 engr. titles w. letterpress labels & 225 (129 & 96) engr. plates, being maps, plans and views, the majority are double-page and the map of Liège is folding, many with multiple maps or views on a sheet. Fol. (56,8 x 36 cm). Cont. vellum w. overl. sides, richly dec. gilt spines, sides w. double gilt border, large gilt dec. centerpiece, 4 gilt dec. cornerpieces, and all edges gilt. (Ties fail, small piece of vellum (1x1 cm) of spine vol. 2 gone, fold. view of Liege w. tear on fold and some rep. on v°, a few brown spots to margins vol. 2 (beginning and end), slightly browned/foxed in places, but a very good and complete set with ample margins).
