Ferdinand Muller jrs' factory in Berlin produced many types and models of machine parts, writing machines and toy sewing machines between 1868 and 1970. Variants of this model, the Number 1, where for sale from 1888. The model was innovative because of the adaptations of regular-sized features (e.g. the straight line hand-crank and the walking foot) for the toy-sized machines.€ 100
