Arabic manuscript on paper of this central didactic poem of Maliki law widely memorized in the Maghrib and West Africa. Its incomplete state (missing at least one initial leaf) is representative of the practical working manuscripts used in study circles. - On the inside cover, a bibliographic note by professor van Koningsveld identifies the text as the Tuhfat al-hukkâm.€ 600
