Madrid, Imprenta Real, 1669. (8), 151 lvs. Sm-4°. Cont. limp vellum w. ties (Ties broken, small marg. cut out of title and of leaf n3, marg. repair to last leaf, browned throughout and in places heavily).

Second edition (first printed in Spain) of this exceedingly scarce work on navigation. Antonio de Najera was a Portuguese mathemetician and astronomer, born in Lisbon, although some authorities regarded him as a Spaniard since his principal works were written in Spanish. All his works are rare and deal with astronomy, speculative and practical navigation, and include Tycho Brahes and Copernicus' teachings.
