W. engr. ti., engr. coat of arms of The Hague on each ti., 2 dedicatory engr. w. coats of arms, 54 (mainly) (lge-)fold./double plates (incl. large city profile) & 4 engr. in the text. Fol. Beautiful cont. mottled cf. w. raised bands, richly dec. gilt backs, brown labels, gilt centerpieces on all sides surrounded by two elaborately dec. gilt floral borders, mottled edges. (Top of spine last vol. slightly dam., some lge-fold. plates (a bit) torn/w. small rep. and one plate needs restoration, slightly browned/foxed in places but else a very fine set with superb bindings).
