Famous atlas by the German geographer Heinrich Berghaus (1797-1884) in which work his nephew Hermann Berghaus associated with him. The magnificent maps are dated between 1838 and 1848 and to make them was an enormous achievement. The atlas was divided in 8 sections: 1. Meteorology & climatography, 2. Hydrology & hydrography, 3.
