Very fine set of Edward William Lane's translation which he based on the Bulaq-edition of 1835. Still valuable because of the numerous notes and background commentaries. Volumes 1 and 2 in first edition. From the library of John Carnegie and with his exlibris on all upper paste downs. With unidentified dedications in ms. on all title-pages.
